Personal cloud saves vs team library
My files stores documents under your user account. Free plans include a limited number of saves; Pro and Business unlock unlimited personal cloud saves.
Team library stores documents under your organization. Any teammate can open or download them. Prefer Team library for shared deliverables; keep drafts and personal copies in My files.
Save a download step by step
Works after most tool downloads (PDF, Office, images, zip):
- 1Sign in to WordToPDFHub.
- 2Run a tool and download the result as usual.
- 3When the save toast appears, choose My files — or Team library if you belong to a team.
- 4Open Dashboard → My files (or Team & usage → Team library) to download, open in the PDF Editor, or delete.
Resume in-progress edits
In the PDF Editor (and some tools), Save to account / Save for later stores a session you can reopen from Dashboard → In progress.
Sessions are personal. They are not automatically published to the team library — export or download, then save to Team library when you want to share.
Limits and plans
Free accounts can hit a personal save cap; upgrading to Pro removes that ceiling for My files. Team library uses a separate soft cap per organization so shared storage stays manageable.
Cloud saves are optional. You can keep downloading only to disk and never use the dashboard.
Privacy and security
Conversion and editing still happen in the browser first. A cloud save uploads the finished blob you chose to keep — not every intermediate page render.
Use strong account security (unique password or Google sign-in). Team deletes are collaborative — agree on ownership norms before treating the library as the only copy of critical files.
Tips for cleaner libraries
Small habits that keep dashboards usable:
- Name downloads clearly before saving (invoice-acme-2026-08.pdf beats document.pdf).
- Delete superseded merges so Free-plan caps and team soft limits stay healthy.
- Open shared PDFs in the editor from the library when you need a quick redline, then save a new version if teammates need the update.

- Do I have to save every download?
- No. The toast is optional. Ignore it and the file stays only in your browser Downloads folder.
- Can teammates see My files?
- No. My files is private to your account. Only Team library entries are shared.
- What happens if my Free save limit is full?
- Personal saves will fail with an upgrade prompt. Delete unused files or move to Pro for unlimited personal cloud saves.
- Are saved files public on the web?
- No. Access uses your signed-in session and private storage paths. Share via the team library membership — not a public URL.
- Is my file uploaded to a server?
- No. Every WordToPDFHub tool runs inside your browser using WebAssembly, so your document never leaves your device.
